What does the Helios-Platform product offer?
By collecting the data needed in the planning phase for data center-oriented infrastructure changes and creating application dependency maps of the applications running on the servers, Provides holistic visibility. Through its agents installed on Linux and windows based operating systems, this is a platform that collects application data and analyzes it on a server, displaying and/or reporting it in a graphical interface.
Why you need Application Dependency Mapping?
The proliferation of virtualized data centers and services makes monitoring dependencies increasingly difficult. Application maps are often the first step in visualizing complex IT environments. With the application mapping software, the servers on which the applications run, their dependencies and inventory information are constantly updated and visible. The fact that this information is up-to-date, it allows to prevent service interruptions in decisions and actions to be taken and to make the right priority planning in case of Data Center relocations.
What is the server limit for Helios-Platform?
With Helios-Platform running on distributed server architecture, up to 3000 servers are supported.
How does the Helios-Platform work?
Agents are deployed on Linux and windows based operating systems. When deploying agents, on the Linux side, this is done with file transmitted, manual installation very quick and simple. The setup part in the file must be run. It runs as a service on Windows. Each installed agent registers with the server software. The data collected from the agents falls on the list, and when it falls on the list, it starts to send these data in order. To receive the data, certain periods are created. Agents are required in the dependency part. No need for agents in the exploration part.
Can PoC be done on the product? What are the requirements for the PoC? How many days will it take?
Your virtual server should be ready for PoC. We provide you with the required features on the virtual server. Next, we enter the demo license. It can be demoed for 14 days, not exceeding 10 servers. All interaction between these servers can be monitored online via the management portal. During the PoC, all capabilities of the system can be viewed. Correlation module is required for servers external devices to be included in the platform.
What is the Helios-Platform licensing model?
Depending on the number of devices, annual, 3-year and 5-year subscription-based license models are offered. The correlation module is also charged based on the number of APIs. If there are requests specific to the project, this will be evaluated separately.
What are the technical requirements to prepare for the PoC?
This may vary depending on the scope of the project. Basically, the following requirements are expected.
